Call for Counselors' Bookshelf Section Editors:
Bibliotherapy and Music

Chi Sigma Iota invites applications for two Counselors’ Bookshelf Section Editor positions. The Counselors’ Bookshelf<http://www.csi-net.org/link.asp?e=bhatc@ohio.edu&job=2991920&ymlink=136989285&finalurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Ecsi%2Dnet%2Eorg%2F%3Fpage%3DCounselors%5FBookshelf> is an interactive forum at csi-net.org that provides reviews of books, movies, TV shows, and music that CSI members have found useful in their work with clients.

One Section Editor will oversee the Bibliotherapy section, and the other will oversee the Music section. When a CSI member makes a submission to the Counselors’ Bookshelf, the Section Editor invites feedback from members of the section’s Editorial Review Board. After receiving their reviews, the Section Editor works with the Senior Editor to determine whether the submission should be approved for publication, returned for revisions, or rejected.

Both Section Editors will be volunteers who serve at the pleasure of the CSI Executive Council between August of 2017 and April 30, 2020. Interested persons should submit a curriculum vitae and a letter of interest electronically to Dr. Barbara Mahaffey, Counselors' Bookshelf Senior Editor (mahaffey at ohio.edu<mailto:mahaffey at ohio.edu>), and Dr. Stephen Kennedy, CSI Chief Operating Officer (stephen.kennedy at csi-net.org<mailto:stephen.kennedy at csi-net.org>), no later than Monday, July 24, 2017. Preference will be given to applicants who have previously served on the Counselors’ Bookshelf Editorial Review Board.
