Dear Counselor Education Faculty & Support Staff,



New Mexico Highlands University is currently seeking two term faculty for the 2015-2016 academic year.  The position announcements are attached, but will also soon be available at http://www.nmhu.edu/human-resources/highlands-employment-opportunities/



The position at our Rio Rancho Center (just outside Albuquerque) http://www.nmhu.edu/statewide-centers/highlands-rio-rancho-center/, would be ideal for a recent graduate or ABD candidate with expertise in school counseling.



The position at our Las Vegas Campus (an hour east of Santa Fe) http://newmexicohighlands.com/ , would be ideal for a recent graduate or ABD candidate with expertise in clinical mental health counseling.



Both of these positions, and an additional one for a rehabilitation faculty will be advertised as tenure-track for the 2016-2017 academic year.  Term faculty are welcome and encouraged to apply for these tenure track positions.



I am reaching out directly to Counselor Education programs across the country as the fall semester is quickly approaching and these vacancies need to be filled as soon as possible.  Please let your students and alumni know about these opportunities.  If they are still seeking placements, they might consider spending at least a year with us in New Mexico.
