Dear Counseling Supervisors, Doctoral Students, and Counselor Educators,

This is a call for nominations for the 2014-2015 OACES Awards. Please consider making a nomination and also pass this on to your colleagues. All nominees must be a member of OACES.  The nomination process has been streamlined and now consists of a 500 word nomination essay specific to the award criteria.  Using the attached form, please email your nominations to Colette Dollarhide at dollarhide.1 at osu.edu<mailto:dollarhide.1 at osu.edu> by 5:00 p.m. Monday, March 2.  The awards will be presented at the OACES Spring Conference.

OACES Awards Categories

OACES Outstanding Counselor Educator Award:
To honor an individual in OACES who has demonstrated excellence as a counselor educator in a program dedicated to counseling, counselor education, or counseling supervision in Ohio.

OACES Outstanding Supervisor Award:
To honor an individual in OACES who has demonstrated excellence in work as a supervisor in a university, agency, private practice, or school setting.

OACES Outstanding Mentor Award:
To honor an individual in OACES who has been a significant mentor to graduate students, emerging professionals, counselor educators, and/or supervisors in their work as professional counselors.

OACES Outstanding Doctoral Student Award:
To honor a doctoral graduate student who is a member of OACES who has provided outstanding leadership or service to the profession at the state, regional, or national level that has promoted the counseling profession.

OACES Hall of Fame Award:
           To honor a consistent record of excellence in teaching/training,    scholarship, supervision, leadership, research, and service to the profession in the State of Ohio for 20 years, or more, of sustained service.

Please consider nominating someone who has made an impact on your life!
