Dear Program Coordinator,

I am writing to request your assistance in a research study about predictors of counseling self-efficacy among graduate students. You have the option of receiving the results of this study specific to students enrolled in your graduate training program. This includes information regarding counseling self-efficacy levels, sleep quality, mindfulness, and psychosocial adjustment of students enrolled in your program. If you would like to receive the results of the surveys specific to students enrolled in your program, please respond to this email with contact information and university name. The project focuses on Counselors-in-Training in a CACREP accredited counseling program it would be appreciated if you could forward the attached letter to your students:

I am writing to request your assistance in a research study about predictors of counseling self-efficacy among graduate students. Your participation is requested because you are a Counselor-in-Training in a CACREP accredited counseling program whose input is vital to this study.

Participants in this study may take part in a drawing to receive one of two $100 gift cards to amazon.com<http://amazon.com>. Participation in the research study is not required and you may enter in the raffle without completing the surveys; entries are limited to one entry per person -subjects under age 18 must have written consent from a parent or lawful guardian; and participation is void where prohibited by law.

It is anticipated that the assessments used in this survey will provide an opportunity for graduate students in CACREP programs to engage in self-reflection.  Also the results of this study will provide an increased understanding of factors that influence counseling self-efficacy.

The online survey takes approximately 30 minutes to complete.  Your responses to the survey will be confidential and protected. Those who choose to participate in this study will complete the instrument online; the link is provided in the email.
