Texas A&M University Distance School Counseling Program
Clinical Assistant Professor


The School Counseling Program at Texas A&M University (http://scp.tamu.edu) announces an opening for a Clinical Assistant Professor within the distance School Counseling Program. The applicant must have earned their doctorate in counseling psychology, counselor education, or related field. Competitive applicants will have prior experience working in the schools as well as online teaching experience. The selected candidate will be expected to teach graduate level online classes on Blackboard as well as perform administrative duties supporting the maintenance and expansion of the program.



This is a 9-month position with a recurring appointment. The selected candidate will be expected to teach Summer and Fall semesters. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. Interested individuals should submit a cover letter, current CV, three letters of recommendation, and teaching evaluations, if available, to Dr. Linda G. Castillo, Chair, Search Committee; TAMU 4225; Department of Educational Psychology; Texas A&M University; College Station, TX 77843-4225.  Review of applications will begin November 10, 2014 and continue until the position is filled. Successful candidates will have consented to and successfully completed a criminal background check.
