Career Opportunities for Mental Health Counselors

St. Aloysius - a premier mental health destination for youth, families and adults in the Greater Cincinnati area - is seeking enthusiastic, dynamic, high-performing counselors and social workers who want to excel and advance in the field of mental health. We currently have multiple opportunities available for both individual and group therapists working with challenging youth, aged 5-17, who are enrolled in our Partial Hospitalization (Intensive Day Treatment) programs in Hamilton and Butler Counties. Positions are also posted for the Hamilton County Outpatient and Butler County School-Based programs.

St. Aloysius offers a high-energy, collaborative, team-oriented environment with competitive salaries and benefits. A Master's degree and Ohio license in counseling or social work are required - PC, PCC, LSW, LISW - though top-performing candidates preparing for licensure in the near future are also strongly encouraged to apply. These programs provide outstanding growth experiences for new graduates, and include ongoing training and supervision for independent licensure.

The ability to engage challenging youth, families and caregivers using a strength-based, trauma-responsive approach is paramount. Experience and/or willingness to pursue training in trauma treatment, play therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, behavior management and systemic family therapy models is highly valued. Responsibilities include the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of social, emotional and behavioral disorders.

For St. Aloysius, every encounter with a child and family represents the opportunity of a lifetime: the opportunity to change the course of child's lifetime for the better. We're looking forward to having you join us in this mission. To learn more about available positions and submit an application, please visit our website at www.staloysiuscincinnati.org<http://www.staloysiuscincinnati.org> and choose "Careers". All applicants must complete an online eligibility assessment, and you will find this link - as well as one to upload your resume - below each position description.
