[Counselor_Educ] School Counseling Position

Pioneer Career and Technology Center is seeking highly qualified candidates for the position of high school guidance counselor, grades 11 and 12.  A master's degree in school counseling and a valid Ohio School Counselor license/certificate are required.

The ideal candidate should possess, at minimum, the following:
*           Knowledge of Career Technical Education
*           Awareness of integrating Individualized Education Plans
*           Experience in working with high school age students
*           Effective student/parent/community communication skills
*           Interest in working with students at varying educational levels
*           Organizational, communication and time management skills
*           Individual and small-group counseling skills
*           Conflict resolution
*           Technology skills including email, Power Point, Microsoft Office, DASL,
and electronic grade book
*           Eligible to obtain a school van driver's certificate
