Youngstown State University (Youngstown, Ohio) invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor position in the Counseling Program (emphasis in Clinical Mental Health Counseling). Review of applications will begin February 1st, 2013.

The CACREP and NCATE-Accredited YSU Counseling Program offers program tracks in the areas: clinical mental health counseling, school counseling, addiction counseling, student affairs and college counseling. 
 
Requirements include an earned doctoral degree in Counselor Education from a CACREP Accredited Program by August 2013. Clinical mental health counseling experience and evidence for potential scholarly productivity as a graduate faculty member required. Additional experience in addiction counseling, school counseling, student affairs and/or college counseling preferred. The successful candidate will be expected to (1) teach graduate level counseling classes in our CACREP accredited counseling program, engage in (2) scholarship, and (3) professional and university service. Graduate teaching experience in counseling and eligibility for licensure as a professional clinical counselor in Ohio are preferred. Salary is commensurate with qualification and experience.  The starting date is August 14, 2013.
