Hello Counselors!

Our names are Erin West and Kristin Bruns, and we are graduate students in the Kent State University Counseling and Human Development Services Program.  We are conducting a study that investigates perfectionism, meaning in life, social interest, and advocacy in counselors.  Ultimately we hope to learn more about what factors moderate counselor's participation in advocacy.

This study has been approved by the Kent State University IRB (12-263).  The primary investigators are willing to provide any additional information required by your university or place of employment.  All responses in this study are treated as confidential, and in no case will responses from individual participants be identified.

The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.

You are eligible to participate in the study if you are currently hired by a college or university as a professor in counselor education, are currently a doctoral student in a counseling program, or currently hold a counseling license and are working as a professional counselor or school counselor.
