Tenure Track Position Assistant Professor, Human Services Child and Family Studies Concentration, University of Illinois Springfield.
The candidate must have an earned doctorate in a human services related field from an accredited institution.  Direct practice experience providing services to individuals (including children), couples, and families is required.  Applicants must be prepared to teach the following masters level courses in online and blended formats:  Advanced Interviewing and Intervention, Child Abuse and Neglect, Family Dynamics and Intervention, and Treating Children from Diverse Populations.  The successful candidate will be expected to teach two core courses and one concentration course per semester.  Blended/online university teaching experience is desirable.  Ability to work with diverse cultures is expected. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work in a collaborative and collegial manner in a student centered environment with a research agenda that is relevant to the discipline.
