Statement: The purpose of this position is to fulfill the university’s responsibilities for disability compliance. The position requires interface with every unit of the university. Daily responsibilities assure equitable opportunities in education and accessibility for students with disabilities.

Essential Functions (%time spent):
• review and interpret medical documentation and/or neuropsychological testing reports to determine eligibility of students (5%)
• determine and coordinate academic and programmatic accommodations for students (25%)
• advise and provide support, advocacy, and referral for assigned student caseload (25%)
• advise faculty regarding implementation of accommodations and strategies for assisting students (10%)
• disseminate information to students, parents, secondary schools, and university community regarding eligibility and services (5%)
• represent ODS at internal and external resources fairs and high school transition events (5%)
• administer the provision of assistive technology and alternate format text production OR accommodated testing and auxiliary support services as determined by office needs (25%)
