[Counselor_Educ] Free Film on Suicide Prevention

The Alpha Chapter of Chi Sigma Iota, the Counseling Honor Society in association with the Athens Suicide Prevention Coalition is encouraging all students to attend a free viewing of this award winning film about suicide. This screening is being held at The Baker Center Theater, Thursday, September 29, 2001 at 6:00pm.

About the Film:

Inspired by invincible friendships, junior high journal entries, heart breaking crushes and the complexities of losing loved ones, Jumping Off  Bridges follows a carefree, adventurous group of four best friends deep in the trenches of adolescence.

This is a wonderful opportunity to interact with fellow students, and receive useful information regarding suicide prevention and support groups available in the Athens area.
