Full-Time, Tenure-Track Faculty Position

DEPARTMENT:
Rehabilitation and Human Services, College of Allied Health Professions

DATE TO START:
August 2012

STARTING SALARY:
Dependent upon education and experience and subject to the collective bargaining agreement.

MSU Billings Faculty Association

Montana State University Billings is the third largest University in Montana and is located in Montana’s largest city.  The senior campus, College of Technology and Downtown campus together are home to approximately 5,500 students.  The University has five colleges, which offer a wide variety of degree programs to its students.  Montana State University Billings employs approximately 500 employees, who together work hard to create an outstanding University.

RESPONSIBILITES:  Responsibilities of the position include teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses in rehabilitation and human services, including clinical supervision of graduate level counselor trainees, student advising, conducting research and participating in other scholarly activities, and serving on departmental, college and university committees; participation in Council on Rehabilitation Education (CORE) accreditation activities, and other faculty responsibilities as assigned.  In addition, the successful candidate is expected to support and engage in the University’s commitment to outcomes assessment and continuous quality improvement.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•	Doctorate in n rehabilitation counseling or closely related discipline;
•	ABD/Post-Masters will be considered, although terminal degree must be completed during the probationary period for tenure
•	Demonstrated expertise in the field of rehabilitation and mental health counseling
•	Successful experience in college/university teaching, clinical education and/or professional training
•	Demonstrated experience in advising students, especially at the graduate level
•	Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other professionals and persons with disabilities
•	Demonstrated commitment to beginning research and scholarly activities
•	Eligible for Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and Montana Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
