Counseling and Testing Position
Responsibilities:
Staff Psychologist/Staff Counselor

The University of North Carolina at Greensboro is accepting applications for a Staff Psychologist/Staff Counselor position in The Counseling & Testing Center, a unit of Student Health Services.

Primary Duties: Short term individual therapy, initial assessments, group therapy, clinical consultation and outreach programs, supervision and training of intern/practicum graduate students, and crisis intervention.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
An earned doctorate from an accredited program in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counselor Education or Social Work. Licensed, or license eligible by the State of North Carolina to practice clinical services within his/her area of competency.
Be fully licensed within 12 months of starting employment. Demonstrate a commitment to multicultural competency and working with individuals from underrepresented and/or underserved populations. Demonstrate proficiency with the DSM-IV.

Strongly Preferred:
At least one year of full time or equivalent experience in a college counseling center.

Deadline:
Priority review of applications will begin October 20, 2011. The position will remain open until filled.  Individuals from underrepresented populations are encouraged to apply.
