Loyola University Maryland would like to inform you of our recent Assistant Professor, School Counseling position within our School of Education. 

Loyola University Maryland is seeking exceptionally qualified applicants for a tenure track faculty position in the Education Specialties Department's CACREP-accredited school counseling program to begin Fall, 2012. Responsibilities include teaching 3 courses per semester in the school counseling program, conducting research and publishing results, advising students, participating in committee work, developing college/ community initiatives and partnerships, and fulfilling other duties as assigned. 

Qualified applicants will have a doctorate in counselor education, a strong record of teaching and scholarship, program leadership experience, supervision training and experience, knowledge and skills in K-12 school counselor training, experience in the field of school counseling, and a demonstrated commitment to social justice and serving diverse and urban student needs. 

Loyola University is a dynamic, highly selective, Jesuit Catholic institution in the liberal arts tradition and is recognized as a leading independent, comprehensive university in the northeastern United States. Located in a beautiful residential section of Baltimore with Graduate Centers in Timonium and Columbia, Loyola enrolls over 3,200 students in its undergraduate programs and 3,000 students in its graduate programs.
