Dear Dr. Leinbaugh,

Thank you so much for your prompt response.

The student is interested in the Master's program. Yes, it is too bad that the group is coming on June 16th, I am anticipating that many people will not be here. We had informed them about the potential of that happening, but unfortunately, this is the date that worked for them.

Thank you for your offer to send the student information via email. I do not have that information. If you do not mind, I will forward your contact information to the Program Coordinator who can then let the student know.

Once again, thank you for your email and I look forward to hearing from Dr. Robinson. If you know of any other faculty members from your department who will be in town and would not mind meeting the student, please let me know and I will contact them.

Have a good day.

Usha

I will be out of town from June 13 until June 30. Also, the week of June 13 - 17 is an academic break, so I am not sure who might be around then. Summer session begins June 20, so some faculty and students will be around then, I imagine. Perhaps Dr. Robinson knows more or will be here.

If the student's email could be sent to me or if she/he would email, I can send information about the program via email. Is the student interested in the MED or PHD program?

Dear Dr. Robinson and Dr. Leinbaugh,

I hope the quarter is going well for you. I am writing with a request on behalf of the Graduate College. As you know every year Ohio University hosts McNair visitations and it is that time of the year now! We have two groups of students coming from Concord University and Kent State University respectively.

One of the students from Kent State University is interested in the graduate program in Counselor Education. Would it be possible for someone from your department to meet with him/her on June 16th, 2011 anytime between 10:30 and noon? It might also be helpful if there are any graduate students who will be available to talk to him/her and maybe give them a brief tour of your department. If it is at all possible for someone to do this, please let me know. This student has also expressed an interest in the graduate program in Social Work. I have contacted them as well and will keep you posted when I hear back from them about their availability. And, if I hear from you before them, I will do the same- I will let them know what time your program representative can meet with this student. This way, we can ensure that the student can meet representatives of both programs.

I understand that the visit is during the break between Spring and Summer quarters. The date was determined by the group, we did not have any say in that matter. I look forward to hearing from you. If there is any other information I can forward or can help with anything, please feel free to contact me. Thank you for your time and attention to this important initiative.

Have a good day.
