POSITION DESCRIPTION: This position is a full-time, nine-month faculty 
ppointment in the Department of Counseling, Adult and Rehabilitation 
ducation (CARE). The Rehabilitation Counseling program is a high enrollment; 
nline CORE accredited Master’s Degree with six full time program faculty 
embers. Responsibilities include developing and teaching online graduate 
ourses in Rehabilitation and/or counseling; advising graduate students; 
upervising clinical experiences; working cooperatively with rehabilitation 
rganizations and agencies; serving on department, college and university 
ommittees; and engaging in other service and research activities. 
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: An earned doctorate in Rehabilitation Counseling, 
ehabilitation, Counseling or a related field. ABD may be considered, though 
egree must be completed by position start date. CRC or Certified 
ehabilitation Counselor-eligible. 
Preferred Qualifications: Arkansas LPC or eligibility, work experience as a 
ehabilitation counselor, demonstrated excellence (or potential) in teaching, 
cholarship, and service; strong interpersonal skills; online teaching 
xperience; experience in academic program development helpful; 
nowledgeable of national trends in Rehabilitation Counseling; and, services 
nd grant writing experience.
