       My name is Valessa St. Pierre, I am a fourth year clinical psychology student and Counselor-in-Residence.  We are happy to inform you that we are seeking Counselors-in-Residence (CR) for the 2011-2012 academic year. The CR program is a collaborative effort between the department of Residence Life and Counseling and Psychological Services.    Dear Student,

      Are you motivated and enthusiastic? Are you dedicated to preventing and treating mental health concerns on campus? Do you have a Masters in Counseling or getting close? Than you might be a great candidate for the CR position!! CRs are responsible for providing after-hour counseling and crisis intervention coverage to Ohio University students, and prevention-based outreach programming on a range of mental health related topics. The CR program is approximately a 15-hour per week commitment during the school year, and CRs are nicely compensated with a free apartment in residential life dormitories and a quarterly stipend for food. Previous CRs have also said that this program is also looked at highly by potential employees/internship sites.

     Please see the attached documents for further details about the position and applications. Also, to provide more detail about the job, we would like to have an information session.
