Greetings Counseling Student!

My name is Robyn Lowery and I am a doctoral candidate in the Department of Counselor Education and Development at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.  I am interested in the preparation of counselors for working with culturally diverse persons.  So, I am writing to request your participation in a research study examining attitudes of counselors-in-training about their program's course(s) on culture and diversity.  I am seeking masters-level counselors-in-training from all specialties (e.g., school, community, mental health, rehabilitation, couples/family, higher education, addiction).

Eligible participants include 1) those who are currently enrolled in a course on culture and diversity, OR 2) those who completed the course in the Fall 2010 semester.  Your participation will involve taking an online survey which will take approximately 10-20 minutes to complete.  I understand your time is very valuable, so those who agree to participate and complete the survey in its entirety will be entered into a drawing for one of three $50 Visa Gift Cards.
