> POSITION:  The Division of Counselor Education and Psychology seeks a highly qualified assistant/associate professor with a balanced dedication to research, teaching, and service in the areas of school or clinical mental health counseling.  The individual selected will serve a nine-month, tenure-track appointment beginning fall semester 2012 and will teach school or clinical mental health courses as well as courses in the CACREP core areas. Part-time summer teaching is contingent on student demand and funding.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  (1) teaching courses in CACREP core and counseling specialty areas; (2) providing clinical supervision to master’s level students; (3) producing a focused line of research leading to publications in refereed journals and to extramural funding; (4) advising/mentoring students; (5) working with faculty in the Counselor Education program and with those entities affiliated with the program; (6) participating actively in professional organizations and university committees;  and (7) developing hybrid and online courses for hybrid programs at the Master’s and Ed.S. levels.
