Call for Newsletter Committee Members

The Association for Humanistic Counseling (AHC, formerly C-AHEAD) is looking for new committee members for the newsletter, InfoChange. We are seeking volunteers with a variety of skill level and available time for a one year commitment. The committee will work as a team to construct our quarterly, electronic newsletter. Below is a list of positions. If you are interested in collaborating with the InfoChange committee, then please contact the Newsletter Editor, Dr. Julie Strentzsch, at jstrentzsch at stmarytx.edu<mailto:jstrentzsch at stmarytx.edu> by May 15, 2011. Committee members must become AHC members at the start of their term.

*         Graduate Student Perspectives Coordinator. This individual will be responsible for gathering AHC graduate student member articles, responding to questions about the column, and overseeing the peer review process of submitted articles.
*         Messages From The Heart Column Coordinator. This individual will be responsible for gathering articles from AHC members, responding to questions about the column, and overseeing the peer review process of submitted articles.
*         Humanistic Resources Column Coordinator. This individual will be responsible for gathering resource articles from AHC members, responding to questions about the column, and overseeing the peer review process of submitted articles.
*         Executive Board Liaison. This individual will be responsible for gathering messages and articles from committee chairs and board members for each edition of the newsletter.
*         Copy Editor. This individual will have an eye for details.
*         Graphic Designer. This individual will have an eye for graphic design to assist with putting the layout together for the newsletter.
*         Newsletter Reviewers. About six people are needed to serve as reviewers for the blind peer review process for submitted articles to the Graduate Student Perspectives and Messages From The Heart columns.
