Finding What Works for Work Following TBI
Marcos Molinar, MS, CRC, Rehabilitation Consultant, Arizona Neurorehab
What type of job should I recommend to my client following brain injury?
Although learning how to interpret a neuropsychological report is helpful, it
is not the only way to measure a potential return to work success for your
client. Find out what to look for to determine if your client will re-
integrate into the work place, how to communicate with the employer and as a
case manager be able to identify accommodations on and away from the work
site. Some case studies will be presented.
Participants will be able to:
Identify terms in TBI: What questions to ask of a neuropsychological report
Determine the motivation factor through job application/interview skills
training and other work preparation assignment
Identify the right job for your client: What type of job should you recommend
as vialble
Apply job shadowing - how to identify accommodations in the work place
