Subject: OCA Scholarships for FT Counselors / Advocacy Day

 

OCA is funding five (5) scholarships for full time Practicing Counselors (Clinicial, School, College, Addiction, or Other) to travel and attend Legislative Advocacy Day on Thursday, April 22nd at 9:30 a.m.  Each scholarship will provide ($50.00 registration, lunch, CEU's) + ($25.00 fuel card) for travel to Columbus. 

If you are a FT practicing counselor in need of funding to attend Legislative Advocacy Day, please complete the attached scholarship form and return it to me (jjprotivnak at ysu.edu) by Thurs., April 1st.

We have some exciting developments as Towner Policy Group was able to confirm  Rep. Kenny Yuko - Democrat representing Cleveland District and sponsor of Mental Health Hold Bill for PCC-S; and also Sandra Stephenson, the Executive Director of the Ohio Department of Mental Health as the guest speakers.
