[Classclimate-users] "too many recipients"?

The problem that occurs is when you send out a bunch of surveys all at once.  If the one with the email conflict is the first one being sent, then you can see the error and fix it before you send anything.  If the error occurs in one of the other surveys you are sending, you won't see the error until it deploys or you click through each eval to make sure there are no problems.

This problem used to occur frequently, but is less common now. I recommend that you check the "Administrative Dashboard for Scheduled Tasks" after your evaluations have sent. If you see an error there, you can fix it and resend the evaluation before it is too late.

This happened to me spring semester. I had a few students that dropped the class but their emails still loaded in Class Climate. I had to remove these students from the email list and push the survey out again (the number of passwords were correct for the number of enrolled students).

This happens to me occasionally.  That means someone dropped the class late and remained on the roster which was loaded to Class Climate.  Because of that, the system thinks you have too many people for the survey.  The eval did not send at all despite the fact that it may indicate it sent later in scheduled tasks is incorrect.  It did not send at all.  I just had an issue with this for spring.

I got this message in CC:

Too many recipients. There are not enough PSWDs for this course because the number of PSWD recipients exceeds the number of participants defined for this course. Some recipients have been moved to "Incorrect Addresses".

And therefore one of our professors didn't get any returns on his evals!  "Some" recipients weren't removed, they all apparently were and nothing went out.  This has never happened before.

I checked and the scheduled tasks seem to be okay, in fact, I am pretty sure these 2 evals were part of the large batch I did so I don't think the error was mine.  Has this happened to anyone else?
