Megan,
Scantron emailed me the info below about a Webinar they’re doing Aug. 15 for folks that are looking to switch from paper to electronic evals. I’d forward this to the folks who are inquiring about switching.

As for a difference in results, I’ve noticed no significant difference in an individual instructor’s results being impacted with the switch to electronic evals. The only major impact is that overall responses rates go from 90-plus percent (with paper) to 65 or so percent with online surveys.

I’ll let others weigh in here if they’ve heard of any other negative impacts of switching from paper to electronic.
