[Classclimate-users] Class Climate

Barbara,
You probably have an old document that I sent out that explained how to load the CSV file yourself, which we had to do before a process had been developed to load the data centrally, which is what Jay is referring to. At this point, the only Class Climate steps you need to worry about are:


1.       Creating your questionnaire(s), including questions and acceptable responses.

2.       Setting up the online survey (addressed in the attachment here). But wait until Jay Beam says that the data upload process has been corrected before you do this.

3.       Reporting results (addressed in the other attachment here).

No the xml file is loaded by OIT your courses are already in classclimate for the fall semester. You do not have to worry about data loads.

Is the xml file sent to me, or do I download it myself?
I tried to download the class information from the Faculty Advising Center but I was unable to load it into Class Climate.
The College of Fine Arts will use the system for paper surveys,

The data is loaded through a central XML file, you should not need any CSV files.  We are experiencing a bug currently that Scantron is working on regarding not all of the email adresses being loaded correctly.  Hope this helps.

Hello,
I am working my way through the training manuals in order to use Class Climate to generate paper surveys at the end of this semester.
I am hung up on a couple of items;
I am not listed as a sub-unit and I am unable to 'choose' my area from the subunit Overview, I have not had much luck finding help for this problem, can anyone suggest who I should speak to?
Where do the csv class and instructor files come from?

I have my survey in the system and I am quite sure I could move ahead on my own if I had those two pieces of the puzzle!
