[Biking-L] Saturday Alum Creek

 Alum Creek is broken up into two different trails - Phase 1 and Phase 2 each is roughly 6 miles with Phase 2 being slightly more technical. The trails are separated by about 3 miles of two-lane highway (Africa Rd.), thus you can either ride Phase 2 and then pack up and drive the 3 miles down to Phase 1 or you can just ride your bike down to Phase 1 and then back to the Phase 2 trailhead parking lot.

The trailhead is just across the road.

To get to Phase 1 you need to go South about 3 miles on Africa Rd. from the Phase 2 trailhead (turn right out of the parking lot). Turn left on Lewis Center Rd. and the trailhead will be on the left after about a half mile.

I just spoke with the people at Alum Creek State Park and they say the trails should be open tomorrow.  Everything is still on for Saturday!
