Dear Ohio University Graduate Student,



The Graduate Student Senate (GSS) is now accepting Candidate Applications for 2013-2014 Executive Officer and College Senator positions. Graduate Student Senate serves and represents graduate students at Ohio University. Our membership policy permits representation of graduate students from every department, school, and college. Any Athens-campus graduate student who will be enrolled at Ohio University next year, with at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA, is eligible to run for election. Applications are available online for download via the Ohio University Graduate Student Senate web page at http://www.ohio.edu/gss/ or 302 Baker. All applications are due before 5 p.m. on March 29th, and must be submitted in hard copy to the Graduate College (Research & Technology Center Room 220).

Election day will be Thursday, April 18th from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The online ballot will be accessible to all current Ohio University graduate students. Graduate Student Senate represents you, so please consider submitting an application to run for a position on GSS. If you choose not to run, please participate in the voting process for next year’s GSS Executive Board and Senators!
