Hi ASU,

Please see the message below about International Women’s Day. It
would be great if ASU could get involved with this event. Even a
fashion show/ pottery reading/ or anything would be great! And
please spread the word! We hope to reach out to as many students as
possible with this event.

Best,

Jen Petrie

THE WOMEN’S CENTER IS LOOKING FOR PARTICIPANTS FOR ITS INTERNATIONAL
WOMEN’S DAY FESTIVAL TO BE HELD ON MARCH 17, 2013.

This year’s festival will celebrate the past, present, and future
accomplishments of women worldwide. The Festival will provide an
opportunity for the campus community to highlight women’s and girl’s
achievements, to reflect on women’s status today, and to project into
women’s future as local, national, and global subjects and citizens.
We encourage all members of our community -- domestic and
international, students, faculty, staff, and community and family
members -- to participate in this event.

You can contribute to the Festival in the following ways:

· Poetry (could be your own or someone else’s)

· Performance (impersonation of famous women from a region or

out during the Festival

· We will hold an International Women’s Fashion Show, if you
