News reaching our desk today is that the renowned Taarab Singer Bi Kidude
of Zanzibar is no more.

She passed on in her island nation leaving behind a larger than life legacy
of musical prowess.

Please join us in wishing her family and friends divine strength and
comfort during this time of weakness and sorrow.
