Subject: Environment America Fellowship

Hi Professor,
Hi, my name is Masha Berman, I'm with recruitment at Environment Ohio. Environment Ohio is a statewide, citizen-based environmental advocacy group, working to protect waterways, fighting for clean sources of energy, and preventing pollution.
Environment Ohio is hiring a fellow. Fellows will work closely with staff on the above mentioned goals.

Are you working with a student this semester who’d be interested in this position and a good fit for it? If so, would you be willing to put me in touch?
Environment Ohio is part of the Environment America federation, a federation of 29 state-based citizen-funded environmental advocacy groups, with 100 professional staff, and more than 1 million members, activists and allies across the country.
Each year, we hire recent college graduates who have the passion, the commitment and the talent it takes to fight for our environmental values across the country.
Can you forward an announcement out about this opportunity to your students? I’ve attached the announcement to this e-mail.

As an Environment America fellow, recent graduates get a two-year crash course in the nuts and bolts of environmental activism – working alongside senior staff to plan and run grassroots campaigns, lobby lawmakers, set up and speak at news conferences, organize town hall meetings, identify new members, raise money, recruit and manage staff and much more.

And after two years, fellows are ready to take on an even bigger leadership role with Environment America or one of our state groups.
You can find out more about us by visiting https://jobs.environmentamerica.org.
And if you’re teaching undergraduates you think would be interested in this line of work, that’s great too! We're looking to hire a small group of talented interns to work with us on the campaign this winter, spring, and summer.
Thanks in advance, and I look forward to hearing from you!

Sincerely,
Masha Berman
