Hello ASUers,
I am delighted to invite all of you to an ASU social this Thursday October
27th, 8 pm at my house 101 Grosvenor, Athens-Oh.  I want this event to be an
opportunity to get to better know each other and especially those you may
not have had the chance to meet in a less formal level yet. But we will also
be discussing our biggest winter quarter event that is the night we will
celebrate an African hero. Please submit your nominations of individuals you
believe are eligible to be celebrated as African Heroes by Thursday Oct 27th
before the social and do your best to attend the social and tell us more
about your nominees.
For those who did not have the chance to attend the last General Body
meeting and who may not be familiar with the procedure of hero's nomination,
all you have to do is to identify individuals regardless of their origin,
location, race, political affiliation, religion and whose accomplishments -
in any of the following sectors, but not limited to, such as:  Economy,
social, politics, culture -  promote and improve the development of Africa.
We will also elect a couple of missing Executives members. Here are ASU
members who have expressed their interest to corresponding positions.
