Hello friends,

As most of you are aware the month of February is Black History Month on the
American calender. The Bokamoso Leadership Forum is very proud to partner with
the Office of Multicultural Programs and the Black Student Cultural Programming
Board in organizing the National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day this coming
Monday, February 8 at Baker Theater, 7:30 pm. Bokamoso helped get the keynote
speaker for the day, HIV/AIDS Activist, Director of National Organizing Housing
Works Larry Bryant from Washington D.C.

This is to invite you all to come listen to the keynote address by Larry Bryant
and to be part of the many other activities that will celebrate and raise
awareness about HIV/AIDS in the Black community. As we come from a continent
that is most affected by HIV/AIDS in the world, it is indeed our responsibility
to be involved and to learn from the many strategies Africans in the Diaspora
are dealing with the tragedy of HIV/AIDS. And as well to be part of this month
of February that is celebrating the achievements and challenges of Black people
in the United States.

See you all at 7:30pm Baker Center Theatre, Monday 8, 2010!

Cheers,
Kazi.
