[ASU] Party for Dr. Abubakar

Hello All,

As many of you may know, Dr. Abubakar, who has been at Ohio University for many
years will be leaving OU after this school year. In order to honor Dr. Abubakar
for his many years of hard work and dedication to the University and to his
students, the African Studies Association (ASA) will be hosting a Human Rights
in African Symposium and Reception. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend. 

The Reception will be held this Saturday, June 6, at 6pm in Baker Center’s 1804
lounge (fifth floor). 

If you would like to give a short five minute presentation on human rights or
politics in Africa, or if you would like to present a poem or say a few words in
honor of Dr. Abubakar please contact me at mw167404 at ohio.edu by no later than
Thursday afternoon.
