[Aphio-L] Interview Committee and Membership

Hey everyone,

This email is going to be a little long, so I apologize in advance. :)

Firstly, I'd like to tell you all what my responsibilities are going to be
for the chapter, since the membership positions are now split up into VP of
Membership and Pledge Educators. I am in charge of planning Rush events and
formal events like Initiation and Activation, matching littles and bigs,
working with other chairs to keep you guys interested and engaged in Aphio
and helping to manage membership retention (helping members with time
management, why do members quit, what issues do we need to work on, etc.) I
will also be helping the Pledge Educators a lot, but my job mostly revolves
around Rush and making sure you guys are getting what you want out of
Aphio. That being said, if there are any suggestions or comments you have
regarding those things, I really want to hear from you, so don't hesitate
to email me or talk to me!

Secondly, I still need people on my interview committee. Interview
committee is where we spend a week interviewing potential members and
answering any questions the pledges have regarding Aphio. You will receive
all of your committee hours in that week and get to know potential new
members, as well! If this sounds like something you are interested in, *please
answer the following questions and attach your class schedule for next
semester by tomorrow (Jan. 6th):*

Questions:
1. Why do you want to be on the interview committee?
2. What would you personally bring to the interview committee?
3. What do you look for in a potential brother?
4. In your opinion what are the three top qualities you see in a model
brother?

Thirdly, unfortunately we will not be having a Rush shirt for this
semester, because not enough people bought one. Those who did buy one have
been refunded and if there are any issues with refunding, please let me
know.
