[Tribeta-L] Tribeta Important Info

Hi everyone,


    ?I know there is a lot going on with classes and within the organization, so I wanted to send out an email laying out everything that is coming up and what needs to be done to prepare for the end of the semester.


    ?Our next meeting is Tuesday March 24th. Instead of our usual meetings at Porter Hall, we will be meeting at 7PM in the Morton parking lot near the dumpsters to go on our semesterly nature hike. Please note that we are meeting an hour earlier than usual in order to maximize daylight. We will be walking up to Radar Hill which is located at the Ridges. The hike should span approximately an hour. Wear boots because it might get kind of muddy on the hill!


    Due to lack of interest in partaking in the district convention, we have decided to call off the trip. Sorry for anyone that was planning on going! Instead we will give group participation for those who go to the Student Expo held at the Convocation Center on April 9th from 11:30AM to 2:30PM. Simply find Chelsea or another tribeta exec. board member to sign in. This will count as lecture participation which is required for initiation.


    Elections for executive board members will be held at our meeting on April 7th at our usual meeting time and place. We strongly encourage participation. Remember there are five positions: president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, social chair, and service chair. Any member, associate or lifetime, is able to run. Additionally, initiates of this semester are also able to be in the running for office.


    ?Remember to sign up for Athens' Beautification Day which is being held April 19th. Go to the eventbrite website and sign up with the group name "Tribeta." Make sure to only use this as the the group name in order for us to all be together on our designated project.     Initiation will be held at our April 21st meeting at our usual time and place. **If you are interested in becoming a member this semester it is urgent that you contact Chelsea Wallace (cw203810 at ohio.edu) by next Friday, March 27 letting her know that you have completed all requirements (Or say you plan on finishing your last requirements before initiation). If you did not sign in at a lecture requirement just let her know which one you went to along with a brief summary of what the lecture covered.
