Hi all,

I sent out the message below a while ago. I have heard from one member.

I desperately need a few members to come and talk to prospective students.

Free Avalanche pizzas and pops.

Many thanks,

Dr. T

Dear Tri-Beta members,

As you may know, Ohio Up Close is coming up in 10 days. Ohio Up Close is
one of the biggest recruitment events at OU. This event invites high school
seniors who have been admitted (accepted) by OU. They are in a process of
selecting a college to attend next fall.

Ohio Up Close is scheduled five times, three this quarter and two next
quarter. They are: 2/24, 3/2, and 3/9 this quarter, 3/30 and 4/6 next
quarter.

I am coordinating Ohio Up Close in the Bios department and need your help.

They will come to the bios department around 11:15 am. After the
departmental introduction, they will tour one of teaching labs. After that,
around 12 pm, they will come to 159 Irvine Hall for Pizza lunch to talk to
our current students, YOU, and bios faculty members.

I have two different needs. The first one is someone who can accompany them
to our teaching lab and talk about your experience in lab courses. Your
duty will start around 11:40 am in 199 Irvine Hall, a big Med school lecture
hall, next to the Bricks. You may stick around for pizza lunch.

The second one is someone who can come to pizza lunch. Your duty will start
at 12 pm in 159 Irvine Hall. Your job is to talk about your experience at
OU.

If you participate in Ohio Up Close 2+ times, your service requirements for
your membership would be covered.

Please email me if you can participate in Ohio Up Close with the date and
your capacity, lab tour and/or lunch as soon as possible.

Many thanks in advance.

Dr. T
