Thanks to Shon and Ellie for discussing the work that the Theater Division Student Committee focusing on Diversity and Inclusion has been doing the past semester. And thanks to all the students who've served on the committee this year. I'll be sending out comprehensive notes on Monday, but in the meantime, announcements:

The Playwrights Festival continues this week and next. Readings will take place in the Forum Theater; check out the postcards for titles and times. The productions are on the Baker backstage:
The Defiance of Dandelions at 8pm on April 21 and 27
Vessel at 2pm on April 21 and 28; and 8pm on April 26
La Mujer Barbuda at 8pm on April 20, 25, and 28
Retrospective Madness tonight at 11pm in the Hahne features three past pieces each from Philana, Nat, and Cristina. If you'd like to reserve a seat, email Nat at natasha.smith11 at gmail.com. Otherwise, tickets are handed out as usual at 10pm.
A Little Night Music is performing at the Ridges auditorium tonight 4/20 and Saturday 4/22 at 8pm. It's free for students and $10 for others. The production includes many Theater students so go support them!
The MFA actors will present their devised piece Symbiosis at 8pm in the Forum on April 22 and 23. It runs about 30 minutes and is FREE.
The 2018 Ohio University Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Men of Black Excellence Awards Celebration takes place at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 22, in the Baker University Center Ballroom and is free and open to the public. First year undergrad Avery Pope is performing and receiving an award!
April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM). Earlier today you received an email about this week's events, including a performance of Lisa Buch's one woman show at 4pm on Sunday, April 22nd at Central Venue, 29 E. Carpenter Street, uptown Athens.
An a cappella performance is happening Saturday April 21 at 7pm in Memorial Auditorium.
