Faculty, please please sign up on the Doodle poll ASAP, so we can get a sense of the numbers and groups who will be talking to Greg on Wednesday and Thursday. If you are available more than one hour, please note that so that we can select the most balanced groups.
Thanks very much!

Subject: [Theaterfacultystaff] Help us build theater in Dublin, OH

Greg Kandel, consultant and owner of Management Consultants for the Arts, will be in Athens for two days Feb. 11 and 12 to meet, discuss, and listen to feedback about the Dublin, OH. theater project.
Greg is a strategic planning consultant with expertise and years of experience in starting theater companies. He was hired by the College to help us plan for a successful theater organization in Dublin. He’ll be here on campus interviewing key participants (faculty, students as well as the Dean and Provost Benoit) to help solidify our understanding of the primary mission of and for, the Dublin project.
This Doodle Poll link is for times that Mr. Kandel will meet with students and faculty- http://doodle.com/9hf2k24tbtxx8m4u

Please take some time to let us know what days and times you will be able to join in on the conversation so that we can get the best information from this visit.

Here are some questions to prime your thinking for these meetings:

What are your hopes for this professional theater in Dublin? As a summer theater? As a year round resident professional theater?

What kind of work should be done in Dublin?

What are the values of the Dublin project for the Theater Division, the College, and the University?

Is there a difference in the value to the students and faculty and staff?

What strengths does the Division bring to make this happen?

If you experienced a season at Monomoy, what part of that experience was most valuable? What could be improved?
What else would you like to share about your thoughts regarding this theater initiative?
