[Theaterfacultystaff] 4 Important News Items for School of Theater this week

I.              The College of Fine Arts Dean's search updates:
A.             All Students are welcomed and encouraged to meet the first candidate for the College of Fine Arts Dean at one (or more of the following): Jean Miller, Professor and Associate Dean of Administrative Affairs, College of Visual Arts and Design, University of North Texas.
1.              Tuesday November 27, Open Forum, Recital Hall, Room 400, Glidden Hall, 4:30-5:30 PM.
2.              Wednesday November 28,  Meeting with Dance, Film and Theater Faculty, Staff and Students:  November 28, Room 115 (Elizabeth Baker theater), Kantner Hall, 11:00 am – 12:00 pm
3.              Wednesday November 28, Pizza Lunch with Students from 12:10-1:00 PM with Jean Miller in 403 Glidden Hall.  This will be an informal event where students will have the chance to grab a slice of pizza and chat with Jean.
B.             The Second Finalist for the CoFA Dean Position will be on Campus December 3 and 4, Ronald Shields, Professor, Department of Theatre and Film, College of Arts and Sciences, Bowling Green State University. The schedule for his visit is forthcoming.

II.            The Production of Assassins has a nontraditional run schedule!  This week - Preview performances on Wednesday (11/28) and Thursday(11/29), NO Show Friday, OPENING ON SATURDAY(12/1) at 8pm.  Next week Assassins will run TUESDAY- Saturday (12/4-12/8) at 8pm.
 III.          This Friday's Lunchbag (11/30) will be Assassins Dramaturgy
IV.          Next Friday's Lunchbag (12/7) will be ROCKSTAR performances
