Subject: Faculty Fulbright Information Session
Have you ever considered having a Fulbright experience abroad, perhaps during a sabbatical year? The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program http://www.cies.org/us_scholars/us_awards/ offers excellent faculty members who are U.S. citizens the chance to lecture at a university, conduct research or do a combination of both abroad, typically for either a semester or an academic year, and has an annual deadline of August 1st. The Fulbright Specialists programhttp://www.cies.org/specialists/Program_Administration.htm#duration offers those same kinds of professors the chance to spend from two to six weeks doing things like offering a seminar, consulting about curricular issues or faculty development, doing teacher training, participating in a conference, etc. The Specialist program has a rolling deadline.
Your colleagues are welcome to attend this Faculty Fulbright information session and you are very welcome as well.
