Please keep in mind that Parking Policy has changed this year, there is no
summer change, you will still need a hang tag.
The dark green lots require a parking permit Monday through Friday from 7
a.m. until 5 p.m. These lots are open parking areas all other times. The
purple lots require a parking permit Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until
3 p.m. These lots are open parking areas all other times. This does not
include any metered or restricted space within these lots. All fees must be
paid at a meter.

Subject: Changes to parking procedures on campus this summer

Dear Faculty and Staff,

As spring quarter comes to a close and we head into summer, Parking
Services is announcing some changes to help meet the parking demands for
campus summer events and classes.

Due to increased parking demands for summer events on campus -- including
summer classes -- many faculty and staff are often unable to find space in
lots they regularly use. Last year, Parking Services received numerous
complaints and in response, will implement changes to accommodate faculty,
staff, students and visitors to campus during the summer.

Beginning Monday, June 15, Parking Services will enforce parking
regulations year-round. Students will be required to park in commuter and
residential student parking areas while attending summer sessions or living
on campus during these months. Commuter students holding annual parking
permits for the 2008-09 school year may continue to use their permits in a
commuter parking area for summer. Those without current parking permits who
will be attending summer session will be provided a Summer 2009 permit free
of charge.

If you have any questions, please contact parking services at 593-1917. For
additional information and a map of parking locations, please visit

Cordially,

Martin Paulins
Director, Transportation and Parking Services
