Green Jobs Panel March 26, 6:30-8:30 pm-- Ohio University


A Green Jobs panel will take place on Thursday March 26, 6:30-8:30 in the Baker Center Amanda Cunningham Leadership Center, Room 366. The evening will allow attendees to learn about opportunities in the green jobs sector while panelists will discuss their educational and job pathways. "The evening is an opportunity for students and job seekers to learn about employment opportunities available in the green jobs sector while learning directly from working people about their job seeking process," said McCosker.

Panelists include: Joe Brehm, Rural Action Environmental Education, Sarah Conley-Ballew, Upgrade Athens, Neil Waggoner-Beyond Coal campaign national Sierra Club, Tim Mace, Dovetail Solar and Wind, Andrea Reany, Community Food Initiatives, Scott Miller Consortium for Energy, Economics and the Environment, Voinovich School and Geoff Dabelko, Environmental Studies Director.

The events are open to the university and regional community. Pizza will be provided.

The evening is being sponsored by Environmental Studies, Voinovich School for Leadership and Public Affairs, Common Experience Project on Sustainability, University College, Sustainability Studies Theme, Arts and Sciences, Ohio University
