I received feedback from one of my classes that Student Senate should work on trying to make textbook costs lower, so if anyone is interested in working on that, let me know!


Here just reminders of events brought up last night (I tried to catch them all):


This Saturday there is a group going to Logan to help with the Food Pantry from 8:30AM-12PM, I have 3 spots left in my car, text me if you want to come: (330) 231-0423.


At 9:30AM this Saturday there is a 5K for Friends of the Shelter Dogs.


This Sunday from 2PM-5PM there will be a cook out on College Green with ACTION!


October 9th at Ping there will be a Canned Food Drive.


October 11th-13th Ryant and Olivia are trying to organize a group to go to Ferguson, let them know if you are interested.


October 15th the City of Athens Environmental Committee will be having a discussion at 6PM in the Athens Community Center.


October 26th Run Like Hell costume 5k for cystic fibrosis.


In January the Patton College is giving out prizes for the best video about Public Education.
