<div class="">I think + 4 for a total of 6 votes would be perfect. (my issue is that I want women running for and winning other senator positions, instead of feeling like the only entry point will be through WAC). Also, we can mandate 3 women from minority
groups (including LGBTQ women, women of color, and women with different abilities)… my only concern is that some people might not want to openly apply for appointment as members of these communities (if that makes sense in text?). Otherwise, I think this is
a great idea… </div>

Women's Affairs just met about this! We looked at the diversity statistics published in August (<span id="docs-internal-guid-711390e0-441b-4d04-f62f-5af1c790f5ec" class=""><a href="http://www.ohio.edu/instres/factbook.pdf" class="" style="text-decoration:none"><span class="" style="font-size:15px; font-family:Arial; color:rgb(17,85,204); text-decoration:underline; vertical-align:baseline; white-space:pre-wrap">http://www.ohio.edu/instres/factbook.pdf</span></a></span>​)
and in Fall 2013 there were almost 11,600 students on campus who identified as women. So we were thinking that a commission of 11 (adding 8) seems reasonable, with the written stipulation that at least three members of the commission be women of color.<br class="">
