Skywarn Spotter online training (Feb/March)

The National Weather Service (NWS) forecast offices in both
Charleston WV and Wilmington OH have announced their 
February/March online SKYWARN spotter training schedules.

Each class lasts about 2 hours and is led by a
National Weather Service meteorologist who will discuss
techniques and safety for severe weather spotting.
Once you attend a class, you will receive instructions
on proper protocols for reporting severe weather to the
National Weather Service forecast office responsible
for your county.

Classes are free, and open to the public, but do require
registration via the links below.  If possible, please
attend one of the sessions being conducted by the NWS office
responsible for your county. (Charleston WV for Athens Co)
