"Wireless Emergency Alert" changes in 2020

"Wireless Emergency Alerts" (WEA) are emergency messages sent
by authorized government alerting authorities through your
mobile carrier.  Significant changes to this delivery system
are scheduled to be phased in beginning January 2020.

Also, effective January 8, 2020, an important transition
in Flash Flood Warnings to an "Impact-Based" model
are scheduled to be implemented.  Especially important for
Southeast Ohio and adjacent West Virginia. Details at:
