THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON AND
TONIGHT. DAMAGING WIND GUSTS AND HAIL WILL BE THE PRIMARY THREATS.

IN ADDITION...HEAVY DOWNPOURS ARE EXPECTED WITH ANY STORMS THAT
DEVELOP...CAUSING POOR DRAINAGE AND STREET FLOODING. IF REPETITIVE
STORMS OCCUR...LOCALIZED FLASH FLOODING MAY DEVELOP.

...DISCUSSION...

A warm front will be lifting northeast...through our vicinity today,
bringing increasing moisture. Showers and thunderstorms will form
today, and even linger in the muggy air during Wednesday night.
Downpours and gusty winds could occur with any thunderstorm Wednesday
afternoon into Wednesday night. A cold front and upper level
disturbance will approach Thursday and move through Thursday night,
bringing a better chance for strong, heavy thunderstorms Thursday
afternoon and evening.  Cooler weather will follow on Friday, with
morning clouds giving way to some sunshine. Canadian high pressure
will then bring dry weather for the weekend, with lower humidity and
cooler nights.
