CULPRIT FOR THE WET WEATHER ACROSS MUCH OF HE STATE AND ADJACENT
AREA. DRIER AIR WILL TRY TO PUSH SOUTH INTO WEST VIRGINIA THIS
AFTERNOON...ONLY TO RETREAT TONIGHT...AS THE FRONT STARTS TO PUSH
NORTH...WHILE A NEW FRONT APPROACHES FROM THE WEST.
RAIN WILL OVERSPREAD THE AREA FROM THE SOUTHWEST SATURDAY...AS A
MOIST SOUTHWESTERLY FLOW DEVELOPS...AHEAD OF THE COLD FRONT. SOME
OF THE RAIN WILL BE HEAVY AT TIMES...PARTICULARLY ACROSS
SOUTHERN WEST VIRGINIA AND SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA.
THE COLD FRONT WILL MOVE ACROSS OVERNIGHT SATURDAY...TAKING THE
RAIN AND DEEPER MOISTURE WITH IT. WE GRADUALLY DRY OUT ON SUNDAY...
WITH FRESHER AIR ARRIVING.
A STRONGER COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH ON MONDAY...WITH A FEW
SHOWERS. THIS FRONT WILL USHER IN AN AUTUMN CHILL BY TUESDAY...
