..DISCUSSION...

THE DRY SEPTEMBER AIR HAS VANISHED...AS A WARM FRONT IS TRYING
TO LIFT SLOWLY NORTH IN OHIO AND NORTHERN WEST VIRGINIA.

ANY SHOWER COULD CONTAIN A LOCALIZED DOWNPOUR TODAY OR THIS EVENING.
THE MORE PERSISTENT...OR WIDESPREAD...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
TODAY...ARE EXPECTED ACROSS OHIO AND THE NORTHERN HALF OF WEST
VIRGINIA.

THE FRONT BECOMES STATIONARY ACROSS CENTRAL OHIO EASTWARD INTO
PENNSYLVANIA BY SATURDAY. HUMID AIR WILL RESIDE HERE OVER THE
WEEKEND. WHILE SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE...
THE MORE PERSISTENT RAINFALL SHOULD BE ALONG AND NORTH OF THE
STATIONARY FRONT ON SATURDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT.

THE FRONT MAY START INCHING BACK SOUTH SUNDAY AFTERNOON.
THE REMNANTS OF HURRICANE IKE WILL PROBABLY BE STREAKING NORTHEAST
THROUGH OUR VICINITY SUNDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY. ONCE IT PASSES...
DRIER AIR IS EXPECTED FOR TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY.

BEFORE THAT DRY AIR RETURNS...WE WILL BE MONITORING IF ANY STREAMS
...OR COUNTIES...ARE FAVORED BY REPETITIVE SHOTS OF HEAVIER RAIN.
